Beauty & the Beast
In the dark they sit & cry
Slow & choking they begin to die
The beauty and the beast, tainted by tears
The unrequited love through all those fears
But he is saved by an outstretched hand
Out of the dark sea and onto dry land
Broken and bruised, there sits the ugly one
The beast in the dark dying alone
She lost all her faith the minute she saw
That her heart had been shattered from the very core
The unrequited love. The broken. The ugly. The freak.
She tried to be strong. But beauty saw that the beast was weak.
